Strongly recommend for a weekend breather

Stunning bungalows, immaculate rooms, designed with mosquito netting for a comfortable stay without bug spray, and with excellent outdoor dining options including fresh fruit and desserts made from local recipes.

The meals served at the lodge were creatively prepared with fresh, local ingredients, providing a unique taste of Polynesian cuisine.

The lodge is quite secluded, requiring a long bike ride or scooter trip to reach the village, which can be a challenge if you want to explore local dining options.

such a cute lodge, but prepare for a real adventure to get anywhere, 15 km away from the village is a bit excessive! there were zero swaying palm trees, just crushed coral and a tree for shade. Also requested a welcome drink upon arrival but was completely ignored. honestly, for all the hype, i just couln't.

I stayed in the Double Room with Sea View for 3 nights, and it was super comfy. The room was brand new and really clean. It had mosquito netting which made me feel at ease without needing bug spray. The views of the lagoon were stunning, especially during sunsets. The outdoor dining was nice, and the meals showcased fresh local flavors. I loved that I could just stroll out to the lagoon for snorkeling and kayaking—what a bonus!

However, be prepared for a secluded experience, as the property is quite far from the nearest village.

fafaipiti lodge is amazing! rené and valerie are fantastic hosts. the lodge is right on the lagoon, making snorkeling and kayaking super convenient. the meals were outstanding, and they catered to my nut allergy with great care.

The lagoon view from our bungalow was absolutely stunning! Snorkeling was a blast—so many fish, and those colorful corals! They really take eco-friendly practices to heart, which is just fab!

The WiFi? Let’s just say it had a 'tortoise' vibe. Don’t expect to binge-watch anything anytime soon!
